Professor Derpy takes AI conferences very seriously. He attends every keynote, every panel discussion, and every networking session. Unfortunately, his biggest weakness is the refreshment table. Once he spots fresh muffins and unlimited coffee, the conference agenda suddenly becomes much less important.
By the time the closing session begins, most attendees have collected business cards and new ideas. Professor Derpy has collected six muffins, two coffees, and enough snacks to skip dinner. He still insists the event gave him a lot to digest, and technically, he’s not wrong.
If you’re organizing an AI conference, be sure to invite Professor Derpy. Just remember to order a few extra trays of muffins.
