Geneva AI Summit 2027

The Geneva AI Summit 2027 is the next edition of the international series of global AI summits, following the meetings at Bletchley Park, Seoul, Paris and New Delhi.

Switzerland will host the event on June 21 and 22, 2027 at Palexpo in Geneva, organised by the Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications (DETEC) in collaboration with the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA). The summit runs back to back with the ITU’s AI for Good Global Summit, giving delegates two connected weeks of AI dialogue in the same city.

Held under the motto “Bridging Innovation and Trust”, the summit focuses on two strategic priorities: AI as a driver of prosperity and progress for all, and its trustworthy, responsible and safe use.

The Swiss Federal Council has appointed Fabiola Gianotti, former Director-General of CERN, as its delegate for the summit, and the event is being built through a “Road to Geneva” series of pre-events, a call for issues in autumn, and open consultations with governments, researchers, businesses and civil society.

Geneva is positioning the summit as the global forum where innovation ambition meets trustworthy AI governance, drawing on its role as the world’s leading hub of international organisations and multilateral diplomacy. Participation will be carefully curated, capacity at the core venue is limited, and the exact modalities for attendance and accreditation will be announced in late 2026.
