Anysphere, the company behind Cursor, is hiring Field Engineers in India to work with large enterprise customers. In this role you will be the technical face of the company out in the field, helping teams judge whether Cursor fits their work, running trial projects with them, and showing what AI can do for their engineering workflows.
What you will do
- Run discovery calls, live demos and trial projects together with Account Executives.
- Become the go-to technical contact for engineering leaders, architects and developers at customer accounts.
- Turn what customers need into workable rollout plans, covering setup, prompt approach and context settings.
- Run demos, whiteboard sessions and hands-on workshops shaped around each customer’s work.
- Carry customer feedback back inside the company to shape priorities for Product and Engineering.
- Work with post-sales colleagues so onboarding lands smoothly after a deal closes.
- Stay sharp on what Cursor can do and how it compares, so you can make the case for it clearly.
- Help plan key accounts and spot where technical proof can open up more business.
You may be a fit if you
- Communicate clearly with everyone from working developers to CTOs, and can hold a room either way.
- Know how software teams are organised and where developer productivity breaks down.
- Are hands-on with developer tools, AI tooling and debugging, even if you are not a full-time engineer.
- Care about customer outcomes and can explain technical value in business terms.
- Have done field engineering, solutions architecture, pre-sales or consulting work for enterprise software.
- Do well in a fast-moving startup, resourceful, adaptable and quick to build a fix.
