Abu Dhabi agentic AI company AIREV has brought Singapore investment firm Terra Invest into a strategic funding round. The company announced the investment on 4 November 2026 and said the capital will support its expansion and the development of sovereign AI solutions.
The size of the investment was not disclosed. The deal still matters because it pairs fresh capital with joint commercial work in two regulated sectors, wealth management and healthcare, rather than a passive stake alone.
What the partnership will build
AIREV and Terra Invest will launch joint initiatives with two companies in the investor portfolio, Kairos Wealth and Shookra. The work will deploy AIREV agentic AI capabilities in financial services and healthcare, with a stated focus on digital sovereignty, data protection and regulatory compliance.
In wealth management, AIREV will integrate its agentic AI capabilities into Kairos Wealth, an operating system for family offices and wealth managers. The applications will cover intelligent trading, portfolio management, financial advisory, and compliance and RegTech.
The partnership is also expected to open cross border capital access, creating stronger connections between international investors and markets in the UAE and the wider region.
In healthcare, the partnership includes a wearable programme with Shookra, a physician led specialist in longevity, aesthetics and regenerative medicine. Called Shookra One, the smart ring programme is powered by OnDemand and draws on biometric data, advanced diagnostics and physician designed protocols.
A platform built to run anywhere
OnDemand is a no code and low code sovereign agentic AI operating system. It serves more than four million users through over 300 specialised agents in more than 50 languages, and it processed 6.8 trillion tokens in the second quarter of 2026, approximately a six fold increase year on year.
The platform can be deployed on device, on premise, in sovereign data centres or in the cloud. That flexibility is central to the pitch, since regulated customers in capital markets and healthcare need to keep control of their data, models and infrastructure wherever the software runs.
AIREV was founded in Abu Dhabi in September 2023 and is structured through an Abu Dhabi Global Market holding company. Muhammad Khalid, co founder and chief executive officer of AIREV, described the design goal in plain terms.
We built OnDemand as a sovereign agentic AI operating system that runs wherever our customers need it, from an on-premises appliance to a national data centre.
Why the timing fits a wider UAE push
Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, serves as chairman of AIREV. The investment follows his recent talks in Singapore with Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong and Minister Dr Tan See Leng on expanding bilateral trade and investment.
The announcement also sits inside a larger national effort. The UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031 targets a contribution from AI of approximately 91 billion dollars by 2031, and the UAE attracted 48.3 billion dollars of foreign direct investment in 2025, ranking ninth worldwide.
For AIREV, the test now is execution. The Kairos Wealth and Shookra One programmes will show whether a sovereign platform built in Abu Dhabi can move from powering workflows to operating inside regulated businesses, at the standards those regulators expect.
