Amsterdam-based proptech startup HousApp has raised €4.3 million in Seed funding to accelerate the development of its AI platform for real estate agencies. The round was co-led by Arches Capital and Antler, with participation from a group of angel investors.
Founded in 2025, HousApp is building an AI-native operating system designed specifically for real estate professionals. The platform helps agencies automate everyday workflows using artificial intelligence, making it easier to manage operations from a single solution.
What HousApp Actually Builds?
HousApp started as an intelligent property viewing scheduler but has quickly evolved into a broader AI platform built specifically for real estate agencies. Instead of creating a general-purpose AI assistant, the company focuses on the daily tasks that consume the most time for brokers.
According to HousApp, around 80% of emails received by agencies are repetitive, scheduling appointments takes nearly two hours every day, and 9 out of 10 agents do not have enough time to consistently follow up with leads.
To solve these challenges, the company offers three core products.
- HousApp Inbox uses AI to handle emails and WhatsApp conversations,
- HousApp Planner automates property viewing appointments,
- and HousApp Grow helps agencies generate, nurture, and follow up with leads.
The platform also integrates with existing brokerage software, allowing agencies to add AI into their current workflows without replacing their existing systems. Today, HousApp is used by more than 2,200 real estate agents across the Netherlands.
The company says its platform enables agents to respond to emails up to 90% faster while saving as much as two hours per employee each day by automating repetitive administrative work rather than replacing real estate professionals.
Founder Vision & What’s Next
HousApp was founded by Sebastiaan Kloppenborg, who serves as CEO, alongside co-founders Ralph Maroun (CTO), Tony Tiller (CCO), Tom Smedes (CMO), and Willem Kolff (Chief Engineering). Together, the team is working toward a clear vision of making HousApp the AI operating system for real estate agencies by bringing communication, scheduling, lead nurturing, and day-to-day operational workflows into a single platform.
Following the Seed round, HousApp plans to invest in further developing its AI products while expanding its customer base across the real estate sector. The company also intends to grow its team, with hiring expected to play a key role as it scales its platform and supports more agencies.
Customer Growth & Market Adoption
HousApp has grown rapidly since launching in 2025 and now serves more than 2,200 real estate agents across the Netherlands. Its customer base includes well-known brokerage firms such as Beumer, Von Poll Real Estate, Rijndelta, i4Housing, and YourHome Makelaar.
The company positions its platform as the digital backbone of a brokerage office by bringing communication, scheduling, lead management, and administrative workflows into a single AI-powered system.
The startup’s growth accelerated after it acquired Dutch proptech company Friva in January 2026. The acquisition expanded HousApp’s customer base from roughly 800 agents to around 1,500 agents, while also strengthening its product offering. Within months, the platform grew to more than 2,200 active agents, highlighting strong product-market fit in less than two years and increasing demand for AI tools built specifically for the real estate industry.
